As a new Victory owner with around 500 rounds through it, I have a couple of questions: I have had a FTF about every 75 rounds with no primer marks. I recently purchased a S&W 686 4" version. I'm going to give it a full polish, as I did with my S&W 460V (3lb/12oz of chrome-like stainless beauty with a custom-made Kansas Black Walnut grip). The grip on the 686 is black plastic with a rubber covering, and frankly - it leaves a lot to be desired. The 686 was built for a specific reason, and that's to take the stresses of the faster and lighter hypersonic 110-125 grain 357 magnum bullets. The older cranes had a square slot milled around the post on the crane. A square nosed screw went into that slot to retain the crane.
